Hey there! I’m Nick. My story is a little crazy…

I was born while my mom was in jail.

My early childhood was spent being passed between family members. My father was never around. He was addicted to drugs and always getting arrested.

When my mom was released from jail, we lived together in a trailer in the swamps of Louisiana. That time was a constant flurry of addicts, screaming and strangers. So, I eventually moved to Austin to live with my grandparents.

In school, I knew I was gay, but no one else was out. So, I mostly just watched my classmates date each other and thought I would never be able to find someone.

I eventually moved to New York City to start over, and pursue my dream of being a singer and songwriter. After hiding my true self my whole life, I finally felt like I could be open about who I was.

That’s when I had the biggest heartbreak of my life. But that’s a story for another time…

Let me stop before I make you depressed!

I write uplifting and empowering pop music because no matter how bad things get, I love to stay positive. But I try to be real with my lyrics, and I write about isolation, heartbreak and empowerment.

I’m riffy, soulful, and a little bit extra. I’m here to celebrate gay culture, and share my story.

If you’re a fan of RuPaul’s Drag Race or Buffy The Vampire Slayer, we can be best friends.
